Tucked away in the bustling heart of Washington, D.C., is the delightful Anna Banana Arts and Crafts camp. This is a place where creativity blossoms and young imaginations are nurtured through a palette of hands-on art and craft activities. Led by Anne Freeman, a seasoned artist and educator with over two decades of experience, this camp offers an incredible opportunity for kids to dive into the vibrant world of art. Anne's canvases have seen the colorful strokes of many a little hand, with previous teaching stints at renowned schools such as The River School, St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School, and more. In addition to mastering the brush and potter's wheel, children also pick up valuable lessons in dedication and resilience, making this more than just a regular camp. What sets Anna Banana Arts and Crafts apart is Anne's enthusiastic approach to teaching. The camp not only kindles creative sparks within young minds, but also helps them build a strong foundation in the arts. In a recent endeavor, Anne helmed an Art Resource Program at the Chevy Chase Bethesda Community Children’s Center, where her innovative teaching methods brought art closer to the spirited hearts of young students. With a landscape as diverse as that of Anna Banana Arts and Crafts, your child's summer can be a symphony of creativity. Each day becomes a journey of color, texture, and discovery, making this the ideal place to let your little artist's talent shine. And remember, every masterpiece starts from a blank canvas, so let your child grab the brush and begin their artistic journey at Anna Banana Arts and Crafts camp.
