Overview

BandWorks is a music-focused day camp designed for kids and teens who are ready to go beyond solo lessons and actually play together. The atmosphere is creative, fun, and collaborative. Campers choose or are assigned instruments — drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, or vocals — then rehearse songs, learn teamwork, and gain confidence performing on stage.

The focus is on group music-making, not just practice. Each child joins a small band (usually around eight kids), ensuring balanced instruments and personal attention from experienced musician-instructors. Bands rehearse throughout the week and perform in a final showcase for family and friends.

Programs are grouped by age, typically 8–11 and 11+, so kids work with peers at similar levels. The camp welcomes both beginners eager to try an instrument and more experienced players wanting to jam with others. If your child thrives in creative, social settings and loves music, BandWorks offers a summer of collaboration, learning, and fun.

Activities Program
