This isn't your usual run-of-the-mill summer camp, but an adventure-filled haven where kids get to experience the quintessential summer camp environment. From trying their hand at archery, engaging in a palate of arts and crafts, to paddling canoes and enjoying refreshing swims in the lake, the fun never stops. Set amidst the serenity of the woods, the campers and their counselors find solace in rustic cabins, adding a touch of authenticity to their camping experience. Meal times turn into bonding sessions as everyone gathers in the dining hall, sharing laughter and stories. But the fun doesn't wind down as dusk settles. The crackling campfire lures the campers to roast marshmallows, and fill the air with joyful tunes and laughter. Camp Bold Eagle also serves as a nurturing ground for children with bleeding disorders, providing an environment where they can learn essential skills for their journey towards independence. In this supportive community, they learn not only from their counselors, many of whom have personal experience with bleeding disorders, but also from each other and numerous adult volunteers. The camp provides a safe space for them to learn about managing their disorder, both medically and socially.
