At the heart of every child, lies an adventurous spirit, a spark waiting to be kindled. Welcome to Camp Cartwheel, a sanctuary where that spark is nurtured and allowed to shine brighter. Since its inception in 1996, Camp Cartwheel has expanded its warm embrace from a modest group of 25 to over 200 children annually. The camp is a haven for children aged 5-17, battling critical illnesses such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, and various blood and immunologic diseases. It also extends its arms to the siblings of these brave little warriors and to children whose parents are fighting the cancer battle. The camp is thoughtfully planned, with activities tailored to suit the needs of the young campers. For the younger ones, aged 5-9, daily bus transportation is arranged to and from the camp. For the older group, aged 10-17, an immersive three-night stay at the scenic Torino Ranch is on offer. Under the watchful eyes of medical professionals and the warm hearts of the NVCCF team, Camp Cartwheel has been transforming summer breaks into unforgettable experiences. This is more than just a camp; it's a beacon of hope, a celebration of resilience, and a testament to the indomitable spirit of these young warriors. A visit to Camp Cartwheel isn't just a journey; it's an adventure of a lifetime that every child looks forward to, year after year.
