Camp Gilead is a year-round, overnight Christian camp located in Polk City Florida. This summer, your child will time travel back to biblical times and experience them firsthand through interactive games, hands-on crafts, and dramatic reenactments that engage all five senses. Campers will have the opportunity to reflect on their relationship with God and receive encouragement both physically and spiritually, all while making new friends, creating lasting memories, and enjoying incredible experiences they’ll talk about for years to come!
Starting on Sunday at 4 until Friday at 4 your camper will have a full schedule of swimming, activities, devotions, games, missions, free time, snack shop, chapel, tubing, community, fun and so much more! Each camper will enjoy a cabin with 10 campers and two fully-trained cabin leaders who will pour into your child.
It is our goal to provide opportunities for each individual to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially, so that each person who comes on property takes their next spiritual step.

We have bunk house style cabins which house 10-11 campers and 2 cabin leaders. Our Health care team will dispence medication at the times indicated on the medical form that is part of the registration. Every night we lock our gates to protect our campers and the cabin leaders stay in the cabins with their campers.
On Tuedays we pay homage to Tie dye by wearing as much of it as we can! Wednesday we dress as Wacky as possible and the cleanest cabin each day wins the Golden Plunger which gives them bragging rights and first in line for three meals.
