Accommodation
Camp Kids Klub Pasadena operates primarily as a day camp. Campers attend during the day and return home each afternoon as part of the regular program. Daily routines are consistent and predictable, helping young campers feel comfortable and quickly adjust to the camp environment.
Extended care options allow campers to arrive earlier and stay later under staff supervision. During the day, children rotate between activity spaces and participate in counselor-led programs designed for their age group.
For campers ready for an extra-special experience, the camp also offers an optional overnight sleepover at the Pasadena center. This sleepover is a special event and not part of the standard weekly camp program. Participation is optional and subject to additional requirements.
Meals
Camp Kids Klub Pasadena includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks as part of the camp program. Meals are planned with a focus on balanced nutrition and child-friendly choices. The camp emphasizes whole grains, protein-based foods, vegetables, and thoughtful ingredient selection.
Food is prepared following food safety standards by trained staff with appropriate food-handling certifications. Families can share information about food allergies or dietary needs in advance so accommodations can be planned when possible. Mealtimes are structured and supervised, giving campers time to refuel, hydrate, and enjoy social interaction with peers.
Safety
Safety is a central focus at Camp Kids Klub Pasadena. Counselors receive CPR and First Aid training prior to camp sessions, and first-aid supplies are readily available throughout the day. Campers are supervised during all activities, including indoor programs, outdoor play, and transitions between activity areas.
Facilities are regularly monitored and maintained. Staff members actively observe camper interactions and participation to help maintain a safe and positive environment. Field trips, when scheduled for specific age groups, follow additional safety procedures, including transportation planning, supervision, and clear communication with families.
Health & Medicine
Families are required to provide health information before camp begins, including details about allergies, medical conditions, and medications if applicable. Staff members are trained to handle minor injuries and common health needs using on-site first-aid supplies.
Medication policies are coordinated with camp administration to support proper handling and clear communication. Daily routines promote hydration, regular meal breaks, and rest periods to support camper well-being. Parents are contacted promptly if a camper experiences a health concern that requires attention beyond basic care.
Camp traditions
Camp Kids Klub Pasadena builds community through weekly themes and shared group experiences. Each themed week introduces activities, games, and projects connected to a central idea, helping campers feel part of a group and encouraging participation.
Daily group moments, such as counselor-led games and shared activities, create familiarity and routine. Returning campers recognize familiar traditions, while new campers quickly feel included. Over the course of the summer, these traditions help create a consistent camp culture focused on fun, cooperation, and positive social interaction.
