Accommodation
Camp Kinneret is a day camp and does not offer overnight accommodations. Campers arrive each morning and return home at the end of the day. The program is designed to provide a full-day camp experience, allowing campers to enjoy structured activities, group time, and outdoor play without staying overnight.
Daily routines help campers feel settled and comfortable, especially younger children who are new to camp. Counselors support smooth transitions throughout the day, creating a consistent and welcoming environment from drop-off to pick-up.
Meals
Camp Kinneret does not offer a lunch program, and all campers bring their own lunch from home each day. Lunches are collected and refrigerated until lunchtime, helping food stay fresh and safe. On the first day of camp, each camper receives a Camp Kinneret insulated lunch bag, which becomes part of their daily routine.
While most campers do not need a mid-morning snack, families are welcome to pack one if their child tends to get hungry earlier in the day. This snack should be packed separately so campers can grab it right after the morning assembly. Lunch boxes are stored away until the scheduled lunch break.
In the afternoon, every camper enjoys a frozen juice bar before the daily assembly, usually around 2:45 pm. This cool treat is a favorite part of the day. Chilled water jugs are available at lunchtime so campers can refill their water bottles and stay hydrated throughout the day.
Health & Medicine
Camp Kinneret has procedures in place to support camper health during the day camp program. Health information is collected in advance so staff are aware of individual needs and considerations.
Designated staff oversee health-related matters and are available to assist campers if they feel unwell or require medication support during the day. Counselors work closely with health staff to monitor campers and communicate any concerns.
Daily schedules include time for hydration, rest, and balanced activity levels. These routines help campers stay comfortable and healthy so they can fully enjoy each day at camp.
