Camp William Hinds

With a focus on scouting and general sports, Camp William Hinds is a summer getaway that boasts a dedicated team of about 55 individuals, all of whom are proudly registered members of the Boy Scouts of America. Here, the mission is clear-cut: to fully embody and promote the values and methods of Boy Scouting. At the helm of this operation is the Camp Director, who collaborates closely with a Program Director and the Camp Ranger. Every program and support area are managed by an Area Director, many of whom have undergone rigorous training at the esteemed National Camping School. Ensuring that the camp runs like a well-oiled machine, these individuals strive to meet the high standards set by the B.S.A. National Office and maintain an Accredited Boy Scout Summer Camp status. Being perceptive to the needs of their campers, the staff is always ready to lend a helping hand. They are committed to providing the best experience for every scout, even if it means occasionally shifting around program plans or campsites. Rest assured, such changes would only be made if absolutely necessary and when it serves the best interest of the scouts and the program.
