Champ Camp Gymnastics is a day camp only and does not offer overnight accommodations. Campers arrive each day and return home in the afternoon. According to the official camp guidelines, students should bring a gym bag to carry their clothes and shoes, along with personal items needed throughout the day.
Campers are expected to come prepared with comfortable athletic clothing, appropriate footwear, a water bottle, and their own snack and lunch. This setup helps children feel comfortable and organized during a full day of physical activity. Personal belongings are kept with the camper in designated areas, allowing easy access during activity breaks.
Champ Camp Gymnastics does not provide meals on site. Campers are required to bring their own food each day. As stated on the official website, students should bring a gym bag that includes a water bottle, a snack, and a packed lunch.
This approach allows families to pack foods their child enjoys and that meet any dietary needs or restrictions. Snack and lunch breaks are built into the daily schedule so campers can refuel and hydrate during their active day. Parents are encouraged to pack items that are easy to eat, do not require heating, and support sustained energy for physical activity.
Safety is a top priority at Champ Camp Gymnastics. All activities are supervised by trained coaches who are experienced in gymnastics instruction and child safety practices. Campers are grouped by age and skill level, which allows staff to maintain appropriate supervision and tailor activities to each group’s abilities.
Gymnastics equipment is used according to safety guidelines, and campers are instructed on proper techniques before trying new skills. Clear rules and expectations are reinforced throughout the day, and structured schedules help ensure campers are accounted for during transitions between activities.
Champ Camp Gymnastics maintains basic health and wellness procedures to support campers during their time at camp. Staff members are prepared to respond to minor injuries that can occur during active play, such as scrapes or muscle soreness. First-aid supplies are available on site.
Families are asked to provide relevant health information during registration so staff can better support individual needs. Campers are encouraged to take breaks, stay hydrated, and communicate with staff if they are feeling unwell or tired during the day.
Champ Camp Gymnastics emphasizes personal progress, encouragement, and positive reinforcement as part of its camp culture. Campers are celebrated for effort and improvement, whether that means mastering a new skill or showing teamwork during group activities.
Group games, shared challenges, and familiar daily routines help campers feel comfortable and connected. Returning campers often look forward to the supportive environment, favorite activities, and the sense of accomplishment that comes from building skills over the course of the camp session.
The activities program at Champ Camp Gymnastics is designed to keep kids active, engaged, and challenged throughout the day. Campers rotate through gymnastics instruction, open gym practice, and movement-based games that build strength, coordination, and flexibility. Coaches focus on safe skill progression while keeping the experience fun and encouraging.
Activities are adjusted by age and experience level, allowing beginners to learn fundamentals while more experienced gymnasts refine technique. Group games and fitness challenges add variety and promote teamwork, confidence, and social interaction.
The program is highly active, so it is best suited for children who are comfortable with full days of physical movement.
