Overview
At the heart of the sun-splashed Florida landscape, Desert Acres Stables emerges as a haven for equestrian enthusiasts. Catering to children during school breaks—be it winter, spring, or summer—this horseback riding camp offers an engaging blend of education and recreation.
From Monday to Friday, the day starts at 8:30 a.m. and wraps up at 1:00 p.m., filled with a myriad of activities. From English and Hunt riding techniques to Western, Saddleseat, Barrel Racing, and Pole Bending lessons, young riders have plenty of opportunities to saddle up and learn new skills.
Safety is paramount at Desert Acres Stables. That's why hard hats are provided for all children. Beyond riding, the camp also emphasizes holistic horsemanship, with instruction in grooming and general horse care.
But it's not all about the horses. Adding a dash of creativity to their day, children can also engage in art projects. And when it's time to take a break from the stables, there's a raft of fun activities to dive into - think hay rides, egg hunts, and even swimming.
Lunch, snacks, and bottled water are thoughtfully provided daily, keeping the little campers fueled for their adventure-filled days. Desert Acres Stables promises not just a camp, but an unforgettable journey into the world of horses, where learning, fun, and friendships are the mane event. So, giddy up and get ready for an exhilarating ride!
