FC Barcelona Soccer Camp Chicago is a five-day soccer day camp for boys and girls ages 6 to 17. The program gives young players a chance to train using the Barça Academy methodology, with instruction from official FC Barcelona coaches. All coaches are UEFA-licensed, and goalkeeper-specific training is available for players seeking focused keeper work.
The camp is built for kids who enjoy soccer and want structured development, not just open field play. Each day includes a clear rhythm: ceremony or group organization, training sessions, snack break, lunch, competition, and feedback. Players work on technical quality, game awareness, teamwork, decision-making, and confidence with the ball. The camp also uses practice games and competitive blocks, so campers can apply what they learn in more realistic soccer situations.
Players are grouped by age and skill level on the first day. After coaches see how each child plays, campers may be moved to a different group if that better fits their level. This helps keep the training challenging without making it overwhelming.
This camp will likely interest kids who already love soccer, follow FC Barcelona, or want a more professional-style training week. It can suit motivated recreational players, club players, and goalkeepers who are ready for several hours of soccer each day.

FC Barcelona Soccer Camp Chicago is a day-only camp. Campers attend during the day and return home after the afternoon departure time. Overnight lodging is not included in the regular camp package.
The camp runs from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM each day. Families should plan daily drop-off and pick-up around that schedule. The final ceremony is usually held on the last day around 1:00 PM, so the last afternoon may feel a little different from the rest of the week.
The Chicago camp is held at Olympic Park. Hotel support may be available through collaborating hotels, but lodging is handled separately from camp registration. Early drop-off and late pick-up are listed as optional services that may help families who need extra coverage for their schedules before or after the standard camp day.
Campers need to bring a packed lunch each day. The daily schedule includes a lunch period from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM, so food should be easy to eat during a short break between training and afternoon competition.
Players should also bring a healthy snack. The schedule includes a morning snack break, and campers will need energy for several hours of outdoor training. Isotonic drinks such as Powerade or Gatorade are recommended, especially for hot days or players who sweat heavily during practice.
Each camper must bring an individual water bottle. Water is available during the day between sessions to help players stay hydrated. Lunch is listed as optional, but campers are still instructed to bring a packed lunch unless a separate lunch arrangement is confirmed during registration.
The camp uses a structured training format with set times for sessions, breaks, lunch, competition, and departure. Players are not simply released into open play. They are placed into groups and coached through a planned soccer day.
Groups are formed by age and skill level on the first day. Coaches may adjust groups after evaluating players, which helps keep children in a more suitable training environment. This matters because the camp includes players across a wide age range, from younger children to teens.
Parents and guardians may watch training, but they must stay in a specific area so sessions are not interrupted. This helps coaches keep the field organized and allows players to focus on instruction.
Bad weather procedures are also defined. If conditions require it, campers leave the field and move to a designated shelter area. If camp is canceled after it has already started, families must return to pick up their player. Indoor facilities are not available for the rest of the day.
A licensed athletic trainer is available to care for participants in case of injury or damage during camp. All campers must have their own medical coverage. The camp provides excess coverage only after the camper’s own insurance has been used, and deductibles are not covered.
Families are responsible for medical attention and treatment costs except for costs covered by the camp’s excess medical coverage policy. This is an important planning detail because the camp involves daily outdoor soccer training, competition, running, and goalkeeper work.
Campers should arrive prepared for the physical demands of the week. Required items include soccer cleats, shin guards, an individual water bottle, packed lunch, sunscreen, and the full training kit. A healthy snack and isotonic drinks are strongly recommended. Hydration is built into the schedule through access to water between sessions.
FC Barcelona Soccer Camp Chicago has a clear camp rhythm that helps the week feel organized and memorable. Each day begins with an initial ceremony or group distribution, then moves into training, snack break, additional sessions, lunch, competition, and coach feedback.
The final day concludes with a ceremony rather than the regular feedback-and-departure format. Campers also receive an FC Barcelona Soccer Camp certified diploma after completing the camp. Selected players may receive prizes and awards for strong performance during the week.
The camp’s identity is strongly tied to the Barça name and methodology. Young players are introduced to a training approach aligned with FC Barcelona’s development culture, characterized by technical quality, possession, teamwork, and smart decision-making. For kids who follow international soccer, training under the Barça Academy banner can feel like the standout memory of the week.
