FC Bayern Soccer Camp Charlotte is a day camp. Campers do not stay overnight, and accommodation is not included in the standard registration.
Families coming from outside Charlotte need to arrange lodging separately. The camp may provide information on hotels that partner with the organization, but hotel stays are not included in the camp fee. This makes the program most convenient for local families or visitors who already have nearby accommodation.
The camp day is built around daytime soccer training, not residential programming. Families should plan transportation, pick-up, drop-off, meals outside camp, and evening supervision on their own. Optional early drop-off and late pick-up may be available for families who need more schedule flexibility.
Campers need to bring a packed lunch unless they purchase the optional lunch service. The camp day includes a lunch break, so players should arrive with enough food for an active training schedule.
Each player also needs an individual water bottle. Water is provided between sessions, but campers still need their own bottle for the field. A healthy snack is recommended, along with isotonic drinks such as Powerade or Gatorade.
Lunch is listed as an optional add-on. Families who prefer not to pack food can choose that option when available. Breakfast is not listed among the Charlotte add-ons on the page, while lunch and early drop-off/late pick-up are listed as extra services.
The camp is organized around a structured soccer schedule. Campers move through group placement, training blocks, snack breaks, lunch, competition, feedback, and departure. This format helps keep the day predictable for younger campers while still giving older players a serious training rhythm.
Players are grouped by age on the first day. After coaches observe them, some campers may move to another group based on skill level. This helps create a better match between player ability and training pace.
Official FC Bayern coaches lead the sessions, and assistant coaches help run training. Parents and guardians may watch from a designated area, but they must remain outside the active training space.
If bad weather occurs, campers move to a designated shelter area. If camp is canceled after it has started, families must return to pick up their player. Indoor facilities are not available to keep campers for the rest of the day.
FC Bayern Soccer Camp Charlotte is built around five days of soccer training, competition, and coaching feedback. Campers work with official FC Bayern coaches and practice inside a structured schedule rather than an open-play format. The program combines technical development with team habits, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship.
The first day begins with an initial ceremony and age-based grouping. Coaches observe players during training and may adjust groups after the first day based on skill level. This helps campers train in a group that better fits their pace and ability.
Most of the week includes several field sessions per day, with snack breaks, lunch, competition, and feedback built into the schedule. The final day includes training, competition, and a closing ceremony. Campers complete the week with a certified diploma, while selected players may receive awards.
