FC Bayern Soccer Camp Los Angeles North is a day camp. Campers attend the soccer program during the day and leave after the afternoon departure period. Overnight lodging, dorm-style housing, and evening supervision are not included.
Families coming from outside the area need to arrange accommodation separately. The camp may provide information about hotel partners upon request, but hotel stays are not included in the regular registration package. This format is most practical for local families, players staying nearby, or visitors who already have lodging in the Los Angeles area.
The day runs from 8 AM to 2 PM. Families should plan transportation around those hours unless they purchase early drop-off or late pick-up. After the camp day ends, all meals, transportation, evening activities, and supervision are handled outside the program.
Lunch is not automatically included in the basic camp package. Players need to bring a packed lunch unless the family chooses the optional lunch service.
Campers should also bring an individual water bottle, sunscreen, and the full training kit. A healthy snack and isotonic drinks such as Powerade or Gatorade are recommended. Water is provided between sessions, which helps players manage a training day that includes multiple field blocks, competition, and feedback.
Families who want a more convenient meal setup can add lunch during registration when available. Breakfast is also listed as an optional service before camp starts. These meal options are separate add-ons, so families should not assume breakfast or lunch is covered unless they selected and paid for them.
The camp day is organized into set blocks: arrival, ceremony or group distribution, training sessions, snack break, lunch, competition, feedback, and departure. This structure helps keep the day predictable for both younger campers and teens.
Players are grouped by age on the first day. After coaches observe them, some campers may be moved into different groups based on skill level. Official FC Bayern coaches lead the training, and assistant coaches help support the sessions.
Parents and guardians may watch the training from a designated area. This allows families to observe while keeping the field clear for coaching and player movement.
Weather procedures are defined. During inclement weather, campers leave the field and move to a designated shelter area. If the camp day is canceled after it has already started, families must return to pick up their player. Indoor facilities are not available to keep campers for the rest of the day.
A licensed athletic trainer is available during camp to care for participants in case of injury or physical damage.
Each camper must have personal medical coverage. The camp provides excess coverage only after the family’s own insurance policy has been used. This excess coverage does not cover deductibles. Parents remain responsible for medical attention and treatment costs except for amounts covered by the camp’s excess medical coverage policy.
Players need to come prepared for outdoor training. Sunscreen is required, and every camper needs an individual water bottle. Water is provided between sessions. A healthy snack and sports drink are also recommended to help players get through a full day of activity.
Information for this section could not be found on the official camp website for medication storage, routine medicine administration, allergy procedures, or nursing support.
The program runs for five days and centers on structured soccer development. Players train with official FC Bayern coaches and follow a schedule that includes multiple field sessions, breaks, competition, and feedback. The focus is not only on touches on the ball, but also on discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
Day 1 starts with an initial ceremony and the first training sessions. Campers are grouped by age at the beginning. After coaches observe the players, group changes may happen based on skill level.
Days 2 through 4 follow the main training rhythm: group distribution, Session 1, snack break, Session 2, short break, Session 3, lunch, competition, and feedback before departure. The final day is slightly shorter on field sessions and ends with lunch, competition, and a final ceremony.
The week gives campers repeated opportunities to practice, compete, receive coaching, and adjust. Players leave with a certified diploma, and selected campers may receive awards for effort or performance.
