FC Bayern Soccer Camp Los Angeles South is a day camp only. Overnight accommodation is not included, and players do not sleep on site.
Families who need lodging arrange it separately. Accommodation is not included in the standard camp package, though families may contact the camp for information about hotels that partner with the organization. The camp experience is centered on daily soccer training rather than a residential summer-camp setup.
The day-camp format works best for local families or visitors who already have housing arranged in the Los Angeles area. Players arrive in the morning, participate in training and camp activities during the day, and leave after the afternoon feedback and departure period. Since there is no residential supervision, families should plan transportation, lodging, evening meals, and after-camp care outside the published camp hours.
Players need to bring a packed lunch to camp. Lunch is listed as a required item each participant must bring during the camp day.
The packing list also recommends a healthy snack and isotonic drinks such as Powerade or Gatorade. Water is provided between sessions during the day so campers can stay hydrated during training. This matters because the schedule includes several soccer sessions, breaks, lunch, competition time, and feedback before departure.
Lunch is also offered as an optional extra service and described as a meal provided during camp. Because players are also told to bring a packed lunch, families should treat the lunch option as an add-on and confirm availability during registration. Breakfast is also listed as an optional offer, not as part of the standard day-camp package.
The camp is structured around supervised soccer training, organized groups, and a published daily schedule. Players start the week with an initial ceremony, then move through training sessions, snack breaks, lunch, competitions, and feedback periods. On the first day, participants are grouped by age. After that, they may be moved depending on skill level.
Training is conducted by official FC Bayern coaches, with assistant coaches helping run sessions. Parents and guardians may stay and watch from a designated area, as long as they remain in a way that does not interrupt the training flow.
The camp has an inclement weather policy. If bad weather occurs, campers are moved off the field to a designated shelter area. If camp is canceled after it has already started, families are asked to return to the field and pick up their player. Indoor facilities are not available to house players for the rest of the day.
A licensed athletic trainer provides care for participants in the event of injury or damage during the FC Bayern Soccer Camp.
All campers must have their own medical coverage. The camp provides coverage only after the family’s own insurance policy has been exhausted, and this excess coverage does not cover deductibles. Parents are responsible for any and all costs of medical attention and treatment except for costs covered by the camp’s excess medical coverage policy.
Hydration is built into the camp day. Players receive water between sessions, and each camper needs to bring an individual water bottle. Sunscreen is also required. Details about medication storage, allergy procedures, or routine medicine administration could not be found on the official camp website.
The camp follows several FC Bayern-style traditions that give the week a clear rhythm. It begins with an initial ceremony on the first morning, helping players enter the camp as part of a structured soccer environment rather than a loose drop-in clinic.
Each day includes multiple training sessions, snack and lunch breaks, competition time, and feedback before departure. This daily pattern helps players understand expectations quickly. It also gives them repeated chances to practice, compete, and adjust based on coaching input.
Recognition is another important part of the camp. Campers receive an FC Bayern Soccer Camp-certified diploma upon completing the program. Awards are also given to selected players who excel during the week. The final day includes a ceremony, usually in the early afternoon. For players who love soccer culture, the FC Bayern identity adds extra excitement, from the official coaches to the required training kit to potential pathway connections.
The program is built around five days of soccer training with official FC Bayern coaches. Players learn through repeated field sessions, group work, and competition rather than casual open play. The schedule includes three main training sessions on most days, plus snack breaks, lunch, competition time, and daily feedback.
On the first day, players are grouped by age. After coaches observe the group, participants may be moved based on skill level. This allows the camp to balance age-appropriate training with a better match for each player’s ability.
The training draws from FC Bayern’s soccer methodology. The camp connects the program to the same development culture that produced players such as Oliver Kahn, Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Jamal Musiala. Beyond technical soccer work, the camp also focuses on teamwork, leadership, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The week ends with a final ceremony. Campers receive a certified diploma, and selected players may receive awards for strong performance or effort during the camp.
