GC Dance Company Summer Camps are themed dance camps for children in two main age groups: ages 3–6 and ages 7+. The program is designed for campers with no previous dance experience, making it an easy entry point for children who love music, movement, costumes, imagination, and performance.
The younger camps lean into playful themes such as Fashionista, Mermaid Madness, Moana Mania, Camp Bluey, King of the Jungle, and Pom Pom Party. These sessions mix dance routines, crafts, games, and a final performance. The tone is light, colorful, and age-appropriate, which works well for preschool and early elementary dancers.
The ages 7+ camps add bigger themes and more stage-style energy. Campers can explore circus-inspired movement, Broadway, Wicked, Barbie Dream, acrobatic moves, dance routines, and theatrical games. These camps still welcome inexperienced dancers, but the themes give older kids more room to perform, create, and build confidence.
GC Dance Company also offers clinics, workshops, and intensives for intermediate, advanced, or company dancers. These focus on technical skills such as turns, leaps, extensions, tricks, aerials, and acro work. That gives the summer program both a beginner-friendly camp side and a more serious training path for dancers ready for a challenge.

GC Dance Company Summer Camps are day camps. Campers attend during the selected camp hours and return home afterward. No overnight lodging, cabins, dorm rooms, hotel stays, or residential supervision are included.
Most themed camps run as short daytime sessions. Several camps for ages 3–6 run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while Mermaid Madness runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Camps for ages 7+ also run in morning or mid-day blocks, with some sessions from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and others from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Clinics, workshops, and intensives use separate afternoon or evening schedules. These are more technical and are intended for intermediate, advanced, or company dancers.
The camp takes place in a dance studio environment. Families should plan for daily drop-off and pick-up. The program is a focused dance and creative camp, not a full-day childcare program.
GC Dance Company Summer Camps are built around themes and final performances. Each week gives campers a new creative world to step into. One week may feel like a fashion show, another like an under-the-sea adventure, a jungle safari, a cheer party, a Broadway rehearsal, or a magical Wicked-inspired stage moment.
The younger camps combine movement with crafts and games. This helps children stay engaged without expecting them to focus on dance steps for the entire session. The final performance gives them a sweet finish and a chance to show what they practiced.
The ages 7+ camps add more dramatic and theatrical flavor. Circus-themed camps include acrobatic-style movement. Broadway and Wicked camps bring acting, dancing, and performance energy into the week.
For more experienced dancers, summer intensives and clinics create a different tradition: focused technical training. These sessions help dancers work on turns, leaps, aerials, acro tricks, flexibility, strength, and precision.
GC Dance Company Summer Camps use themes to make dance feel playful and easy to enter. Younger campers can dance through fashion, mermaid, Moana, Bluey, jungle, and cheer-inspired weeks. These camps include dance routines, crafts, games, and a final performance where children can show their work.
Older campers ages 7+ can choose themes with more theatrical and technical energy. Circus-inspired camps include acrobatic moves, high-energy music, and circus-themed crafts. Broadway Bound brings singing, dancing, acting, theater crafts, and games. Wicked Camp adds magical storytelling, dance, crafts, theatrical games, and a final performance. Barbie Dream focuses on dance, glam, creativity, games, crafts, and confidence.
The summer program also includes skill clinics and intensives. These are better for dancers with more experience or company dancers. Topics include technical training, aerials, turns, leaps, acro tricks, extensions, balance, strength, flexibility, posture, control, and precision.
Themed camps are listed as no-experience-needed.
