Groce United Methodist Church 2026 Summer Music Camp. "Down by the Creek Bank".
Camp will be held Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 17 from 10am - 3pm. Lunch will be served daily.
$40 per child or $30 per child for 2 or more children in a household. Scholarships are available. Additional $5 per child if registered AFTER July 1st.
Music camp will include games, crafts, lunch, and music appreciateion, along with a concert performance of a children's musical "Down by the Creek Bank". The performance will be Friday, July 17 at 6pm.
Music serves as a primary tool for faith formation. Sacred songs allow biblical truths to be learned, remembered, and in embodied in ways that are accessible and meaningful. During music camps, children learn Christian music that proclaims core faith themes including God as Creator, love and grace, trust in Christ, and faithful living. Daily activities intentionally connect the music to scripture, prayer, and conversation, helping children understand the Gospel and how a relationship with Jesus shapes their lives. Each day includes music, crafts, recreation, lunch, and caring volunteers who embody Christ's hospitality.
