Poway, CA, USA
Gyminny Kids Summer Camp Poway is a movement-focused day camp built around gymnastics, play, creativity, and social time. The camp is designed for school-age children, including TK.
The camp is a good match for children who enjoy active indoor play. Campers explore gymnastics, use the Bungee Bouncer system, spend time on Olympic apparatus, join gym games, work through ninja-style courses, make crafts, and socialize with other campers. It is not a quiet sit-down camp. It is for kids who want to move.
The program welcomes beginners as well as returning gymnasts. Children are usually grouped by age and gender, then by full-day and half-day camp status to help transitions run smoothly. This makes the camp more manageable for younger campers and more organized for children staying longer.
Gyminny Kids Poway also emphasizes flexibility. Families can register for single half-day or full-day sessions rather than being locked into a full week. Camps are offered during summer and school district closure days, with themed sessions such as Beach, Superhero, Pokémon, Minecraft, Ninja, Circus, and Disney.

Gyminny Kids Summer Camp Poway is a day camp. It does not include overnight lodging, cabins, dorm rooms, or residential supervision. Campers attend during the selected day session and return home afterward.
Families can choose from a morning half-day, an afternoon half-day, or a full-day camp. The morning half-day session runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The afternoon half-day session runs from 1:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Full-day camp runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The Poway location also offers early drop-off from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and late pick-up from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. These are optional add-ons for families who need a longer day.
Because this is a non-residential gym camp, parents should plan daily transportation, pack the required items, and reserve camp sessions in advance through the parent portal or by contacting the gym.
Campers should bring a snack and a water bottle. Children staying for the full day should also bring lunch. The gym provides a snack as part of the camp experience, but packed food is still needed depending on the child’s session length.
Gyminny Kids Poway is a nut-free facility. Camp families are asked not to send nut products with children. This rule is in place to accommodate campers with allergies.
Snack breaks are part of the camp rhythm. Full-day campers also have lunch, which gives them a much-needed reset between active gym rotations, games, crafts, and afternoon activities. Since campers may be jumping, running, climbing, swinging, and working through obstacle-style activities, hydration and food matter.
Gyminny Kids Poway describes safety as a core part of its program. The facility is climate-controlled, clean, and designed for supervised movement. The Poway page states that staff are background checked and CPR/First Aid certified. The broader camp guidance also notes structured supervision, age-appropriate grouping, clean equipment, and coaches at every station.
Campers use gymnastics equipment in a coach-led setting rather than open, unsupervised play. Activities may include Olympic apparatus, trampolines, bungees, ninja courses, games, crafts, and group activities. Coaches guide children through rotations and help them try skills at an appropriate level.
The camp also gives clear clothing rules. Campers should wear workout attire with no buttons or zippers. Children participate barefoot, and long hair should be tied back in a ponytail. These rules help reduce avoidable safety issues as children move through the gym equipment.
Gyminny Kids Summer Camp Poway mixes gymnastics, specialty gym equipment, crafts, and social play. Campers rotate through structured movement activities instead of staying in one place all day. The program is beginner-friendly, but it also gives returning gymnasts more time to practice, play, and build confidence. Themes add variety from week to week, while the gym setting keeps the focus on movement and physical confidence.
