Hongwanji Mission Summer School

Nestled in the verdant Nuuanu Valley just a stone's throw from downtown Honolulu, the Hongwanji Mission School offers a summer program that's a veritable smorgasbord of learning and fun. The program is open to kids from kindergarten through grade 7, regardless of their school of origin. In the morning, the young scholars flex their academic muscles with subjects ranging from Lego Robotics to Japanese language, while the afternoons are chock-full of enrichment activities, from swimming and martial arts to cooking and crafts.
