Heralding the arrival of summer, the Joslyn Art Museum presents an exciting opportunity for young creatives. This artful journey through June and July is not just a camp, but a vibrant canvas where children and teens can unleash their imagination. The museum has carefully curated a series of week-long, half-day art camps for various age groups. The little ones, aged 4-5, have their own dedicated sessions, as do slightly older kids in the age brackets of 6-8 and 9-12. Teenagers haven't been left out either; they have their exclusive creative space where they can freely express themselves. The camps run in two slots, from 9 am to noon, and then from 1 pm to 4 pm. If your child is a budding Picasso who wants to immerse themselves in a full day of artistic exploration, they can attend both sessions. There's a supervised 'Lunch Bunch' in between, where the kids can take a breather, recharge their batteries, and swap stories over lunch and drinks. At the Joslyn Art Museum Summer Camps, the focus is squarely on arts and crafts. It's a place where children can dip their brushes not just into paint, but into the rainbow of their creativity. It's a season of fun, yes, but also a time of discovering talents, honing skills, and creating memories that are as vivid and enduring as the art they'll produce.
