July Experience at Davidson

July Experience at Davidson is a three-week residential program designed for rising high school juniors and seniors who are eager to challenge themselves academically while getting a taste of college life. Hosted on the beautiful campus of one of the nation’s top liberal arts colleges, this program offers students the opportunity to take two courses in diverse subjects, ranging from anthropology to political science to film studies. Each class meets for 90 minutes daily, allowing students to dive deep into topics that spark their curiosity.

Beyond the classroom, participants enjoy a variety of recreational and social activities, including trips to Davidson’s Lake Campus, fitness center, and even outings to cultural venues in nearby Charlotte. The camp also offers leadership development programs and workshops led by Davidson’s College Admissions Department, providing valuable insights into the college application process.

Students are expected to uphold the Davidson College Honor Code, which fosters a strong sense of community and integrity throughout the program.
