This exclusive opportunity is designed for enthusiastic camp-goers ascending into 7th to 9th grades and charting the early teens of 13 to 15. At Kingston’s, they’re not just campers - they’re 'Gophers,' chosen for their eagerness to grow and learn. Here, they don't shy away from responsibility or chores. Quite the opposite. They plunge head-first into days packed with team-building exercises, camp maintenance tasks, and moments spent crafting games and activities. These engagements work like little puzzles, each piece contributing to their overall development and better understanding of leadership. These Gophers, however, aren't merely tucked away in a corner learning and laboring - they're an integral part of the bustling camp life. As they mingle with other campers, their fresh ideas and vibrant energy elevate the camp activities to an imaginative joyride for everyone. But the Gophers' journey doesn't just entail fun and games. They are held to high standards, initiated into Leadership Training and even signing a behavioral contract, ensuring they take to heart the essence of being role models.
