NBC Volleyball Camp in Napa Valley is a faith-based, intensive overnight volleyball training program designed to help middle school and high school girls elevate their skills, grow their leadership, and build mental toughness. The camp’s philosophy — “Nothing Beats Commitment” — underscores a holistic approach: strength and stamina on the court, integrity and teamwork in life, and a personal commitment to growth.
Set in the quiet, beautiful grounds of Pacific Union College, the camp offers 6–10 hours per day of volleyball instruction, drills, games, and tournaments, all wrapped in a character-building curriculum. Coaches are selected not just for their volleyball skills, but also for their ability to mentor young athletes in leadership, confidence, and Christian values of integrity and compassion. Evening activities include a thematic “Intensity Night” and leadership workshops, ensuring that campers develop both physically and personally.
This camp is ideal for girls aged 11–18 who already have some experience or are serious about improving their volleyball game. Whether your child dreams of playing at the next level or wants to deepen her game in a supportive, character-driven environment, this program offers the right mix of challenge, faith, and fun.

Campers stay in dorm-style housing on the Pacific Union College campus. Rooms accommodate 2–4 campers each, and include shared bathrooms with shower facilities. Since the college dorms are not air-conditioned, NBC recommends that campers bring a fan. While roommate preferences can be submitted during registration, if no specific request is made, campers will be matched by gender and age. The living arrangements foster independence and community building, giving girls a chance to bond, support one another, and grow in responsibility.
All meals are provided in the campus dining hall. The cafeteria offers a rotating menu featuring salad bars, hot entrees, sandwiches, cereal, and more. Since the college dining hall primarily serves a vegetarian menu, the camp typically offers a variety of plant-based meal options, which may appeal to campers with specific dietary preferences. While NBC does not explicitly publish detailed allergen-accommodation policies for this location, general camp registration forms typically request medical and dietary information, allowing staff to plan accordingly.
Safety is a central focus of NBC’s camp operations. Volleyball training is conducted in well-maintained gym facilities, and all athletes are supervised by experienced coaches who not only teach skills but also enforce safe practice habits. The overnight structure allows staff supervision around the clock, including during evenings and lights-out. NBC’s broader organizational standards include a “Peace of Mind Policy” that underscores their commitment to risk management and camper welfare.
Traditions at NBC Volleyball Camp emphasize a balance of performance, growth, and community. One key tradition is Intensity Night, an evening program where campers compete in fun yet structured challenges, often themed to push teamwork and mental grit. Leadership workshops are integrated into the schedule, helping campers reflect on their values, set goals, and develop their character. Before and after training sessions, there are “team talks” to reinforce lessons from the court about perseverance and integrity. At the end of camp, players participate in tournaments and closing celebrations, a chance to recognize their achievements and share their camp experiences.
The NBC Volleyball Camp program is structured yet dynamic: campers spend much of their day in volleyball skill training (drills, scrimmages, and tournaments), balanced with character development and leadership activities. Every session is designed to challenge players physically while nurturing mental toughness and life skills rooted in Christian values.
If a camper cancels within one week of camp start, she receives a camp voucher for half the tuition paid — but the registration fee is not included.
