Offense - Defense Charlotte Football Camp

Charlotte, NC, USA

Overview

O-D Camp at Winthrop University blends high-level instruction with real football insight from experienced coaches. Athletes train under the guidance of college coaches and, at times, NFL professionals, along with guest speakers who bring added perspective to the field. The atmosphere is serious yet motivating, encouraging players to ask questions, refine their technique, and understand the game beyond basic drills.

Daily sessions go beyond standard practice. In addition to position-specific training, campers may participate in evening chalk talks or film study, where plays are broken down, and strategy is discussed in detail. At selected locations, specialized instruction in kicking, long snapping, and special teams adds depth for athletes interested in those roles. A live recruiting seminar with a college representative gives older players insight into the next level of competition.

Live-play competitions are evaluated, and athletes receive written feedback to help guide improvement. Streaming services and live social media engagement add a modern element to the experience, allowing players to feel part of a larger football community. A full-time camp store is also available during the event. The camp welcomes athletes ages 6–18, with instruction adapted by age and ability so each participant can develop skills while staying appropriately challenged.
