Overnight Environmental Research Camp

Pisgah Forest, NC, USA

Overview

The Overnight Environmental Research Camp by Headwaters Science Institute offers an immersive, hands-on experience for students entering grades 7–12 who are passionate about environmental science and the natural world. Held at the scenic Webber Lake Campground in Truckee, California, this program combines scientific exploration with outdoor fun, making it an unforgettable summer opportunity. Program Overview Participants work in small groups under the guidance of professional scientist mentors to design and execute their own environmental research projects. All-Gender Camp (July 9–13): Open to all students, this session offers the same enriching experience in a mixed-gender setting.
