Pioneered by Ace Salu in 1998, the camp's driving belief is in the transformative power of sports for molding our youth into future leaders. The camp's 5-day summer journey provides a symphony of enriched avenues - sharpened athletic aptitudes, fortified social skills, and a safe, drug-free environment. Soon, these young campers evolve into trustworthy leaders, exhibiting team spirit and modeling positive behaviors for their younger counterparts. Hard-to-forget memories were also etched at the PICO Learning Center, an initiative funded by the city of Portland. This unique endeavor catered to over 100 Asian and Pacific Islander pupils, offering everything from after-school homework clubs to art and tech activities. Mirroring PICO's mission, students witnessed a tremendous improvement in their academic performance, thanks to the center's integrated approach to learning and development.
