SpiritKids Sports Gymnastics Camp is a co-ed recreational gymnastics camp for children ages 4.5 to 11. It is designed for kids who enjoy active play, movement challenges, and learning new skills without the pressure of a competitive team environment. The camp runs as a half-day program, which can work well for younger campers who have plenty of energy in the morning but may not be ready for a full day away.
The atmosphere is relaxed and skill-building rather than intense. SpiritKids describes its broader program as focused on fitness, fun, confidence, coordination, flexibility, strength, and body awareness. That same style carries into camp through gymnastics practice, games, and crafts. Campers work on activities such as tumbling, swinging on bars, walking on beams, and vaulting. Games add a teamwork element, while crafts give kids a calmer, creative break during the week.
This camp will likely interest children who enjoy gymnastics, dance-like movement, obstacle-course play, or practicing physical skills in a friendly setting. It may also suit beginners who need a supportive entry point into gymnastics. More advanced gymnasts looking for intensive competitive training may need a more specialized program.

SpiritKids Sports Gymnastics Camp is a day camp, not an overnight or residential program. Campers attend during the morning and return home after the daily session. The posted camp schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with one holiday-related exception during the first listed week.
Because the program is half-day, there is no lodging, cabin life, evening programming, or overnight supervision. This structure is better suited for local families or nearby visitors who want a morning activity block rather than a full camp stay. It can also be a gentler option for younger children who are new to camp routines, since the daily commitment is shorter and centered on familiar activities: movement, games, and crafts.
SpiritKids provides several practical safety rules for its gymnastics program. Children should wear fitted athletic clothing and slip-off shoes they can manage independently. Baggy clothing, including dresses that may fall over a child’s head when upside down, is not recommended. Campers should bring a water bottle, and snacks are not allowed inside the gym.
The program also has a controlled drop-off and pick-up process. Guardians must walk children to the gym doors and make sure SpiritKids staff account for them before leaving. Children are not allowed to walk alone to parking areas. At pick-up, staff must see the guardian at the gym doors before releasing the student.
SpiritKids Sports Gymnastics Camp combines active gymnastics instruction with games and crafts. The gymnastics portion helps campers build body awareness, strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence through repeated practice on core apparatus and movement skills. Games are used to help children practice teamwork, whether they are playing in the gym, on the field, or with board-based activities. Crafts give campers a creative reset during the week, with projects such as coloring, drawing, Play-Doh creations, and bracelet making.
