Summer Camp at Neisha's

Summer Camp at Neisha's

Chula Vista, CA, USA

Overview

Summer Camp at Neisha’s is a flexible dance camp for young performers, with registration details listing ages 4–12. The camp is built for children who enjoy music, movement, imagination, and performing in a group. Families can choose morning-only, afternoon-only, full-day, individual days, or the full week.

The morning camp has a playful theme structure. The K-Pop Demon Hunters theme runs Monday through Friday and combines story-driven dance, crafts, and mini-missions. For younger dancers, the Rainbow Unicorn Sparkle Mermaid theme runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings and is designed for ages 4–6. These sessions offer a softer, more imaginative option for little campers who may be new to dance camp.

The afternoon camp shifts into K-pop training. Campers work on idol groove, jazz-funk, hip hop, and stage presence. The tone is upbeat and performance-focused, giving dancers a chance to move with confidence and learn how to carry themselves like performers.

This camp suits children who like dance, music videos, costumes, themes, and group energy. It also works well for new dancers because all levels are welcome, and instruction uses leveled groups and small rotations.

Accommodation and Meals

Accommodation

Summer Camp at Neisha’s is a day camp. Campers attend during their selected camp block and return home afterward. No overnight lodging, cabins, dorm rooms, hotel stays, or residential supervision are included.

The schedule offers several options. Morning camp runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Afternoon camp runs from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Full-day camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and includes a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Early drop-off is available starting at 7:00 AM for an added fee.

The camp takes place in a dance and music academy setting. Campers spend their time in a studio-based environment designed for dance, movement, music, performance, and creative instruction. Families should plan for daily drop-off and pick-up based on the format selected during registration.

Meals

Full-day campers bring a packed lunch for the 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM lunch break. Lunch is not listed as provided by the camp.

Morning-only and afternoon-only campers do not have a listed meal period. Families should still send a labeled water bottle for all campers. Dance camp includes movement, rehearsing, and active games, so hydration is important even for half-day sessions.

No cafeteria service, catered lunch, snack service, special diet support, refrigeration, or microwave access is listed in the camp information. Families should pack food that is simple, familiar, and easy for the child to manage during the lunch break.

Campers should also bring comfortable dance clothes and dance shoes. For full-day campers, a practical bag would include lunch, water, dance shoes, and any personal items needed for a full day in the studio.

Safety

Participation in camp involves physical activity, and families acknowledge the inherent risks connected with movement-based programming. Children are expected to be in good physical health and able to participate in the activities offered at camp.

Neisha’s Dance & Music Academy staff are authorized to seek medical treatment for a child in case of an emergency. Families also agree to follow the rules and regulations set for the camp.

The camp format uses leveled instruction and small group rotations. This helps dancers work at a more appropriate pace rather than putting every child at the exact same activity level. The program is open to new and returning dancers, with instruction adjusted for different experience levels.

Camp traditions

Summer Camp at Neisha’s is built around themes, dance friends, and a final “debut” moment. Campers are not just taking a regular dance class. They step into a themed week with music, movement, crafts, and mini-missions that give the camp a story-driven feel.

The K-Pop Demon Hunters theme adds energy and character to the week. Campers can dance, create, and take part in mission-style activities tied to the theme. In the afternoon, K-pop training brings a more performance-style rhythm with idol groove, jazz-funk, hip hop, and stage presence.

For younger dancers, Rainbow Unicorn Sparkle Mermaid mornings create a brighter fantasy theme with a gentler age fit. This gives ages 4–6 a way to join camp without being pushed into an older-child format all week.

The final “debut” moment gives campers something to work toward and gives families a chance to cheer them on.

Activities Program

Summer Camp at Neisha’s gives campers a mix of dance, creative themes, crafts, and performance work. Morning sessions center on story-driven dance and mini-missions. The K-Pop Demon Hunters theme runs across the full week, while the Rainbow Unicorn Sparkle Mermaid mornings give younger dancers ages 4–6 a more age-targeted option on Tuesday and Thursday.

The afternoon program has a stronger training feel. Campers work on K-pop movement, idol groove, jazz-funk, hip hop, and stage presence. These activities help dancers learn choreography, perform with confidence, and understand how energy and expression affect a routine.

The camp is flexible. Children can attend one day, several days, half-day sessions, full-day sessions, or the full week. All levels are welcome, and small group rotations help new and returning dancers participate at a suitable level.
