Accommodation
Summer Camp CAI operates as a day camp, meaning campers attend during the day and return home each afternoon. There is no overnight housing or residential component associated with the program.
Camp activities take place on a school campus where classrooms and learning spaces are used for different educational modules. Campers move between activity areas as they participate in projects, workshops, and group sessions throughout the day.
Safety
Summer Camp CAI takes place in a structured educational environment, with campers supervised by instructors and staff throughout the day. Activities are organized within classrooms or designated activity areas on campus.
Because many projects involve building, experimenting, or collaborative problem-solving, instructors provide guidance before each activity begins. Students are shown how to use materials appropriately and safely.
Camp Traditions
Creativity and teamwork are central traditions at Summer Camp CAI. Campers are encouraged to share ideas, collaborate on projects, and celebrate each other’s successes.
Many activities are completed in small teams where students brainstorm solutions and present their results to the group. This encourages communication and helps campers feel proud of their accomplishments.
Another common tradition is project presentation. After completing a challenge or building activity, campers often share what they created and explain how their design works. These moments help children build confidence while learning from each other.
The camp culture focuses on curiosity and experimentation, reminding campers that innovation often comes from trying new ideas.
