The University of Alaska Fairbanks Summer Sessions & Lifelong Learning (SSLL) program provides a rich array of educational and cultural opportunities for students, families, and community members. Located in Fairbanks, Alaska, this program is designed to inspire learning, foster creativity, and connect participants with the unique experiences Alaska has to offer. Programs for Kids and Teens SSLL hosts over 90 summer day camps for children in grades K-12, covering topics like science, art, music, dance, technology, and outdoor recreation. Highlights include: - 365 SMART Academy: A series of camps focusing on Science, Math, Art, Recreation, and Technology. - Visual Art Academy: A two-week intensive program for grades 6-12 featuring classes in ceramics, photography, digital design, and more. - Summer Music Academy: A comprehensive program for young musicians to refine their skills with guidance from UAF faculty and guest artists. Community Learning Opportunities For adults, SSLL offers non-credit workshops and courses year-round.
