Accommodation
Both day and overnight options are typically available at this location.
Day campers attend structured programming during scheduled hours and return home each afternoon. Overnight campers stay in campus residence halls under staff supervision, giving them a more immersive experience.
Residential students are housed in college dorm-style accommodations and participate in evening activities in addition to daytime classes. The overnight option offers a preview of campus living, with supervised check-ins, structured schedules, and designated quiet hours.
All activities take place within the campus environment, and students move between classrooms, dining areas, and housing with staff oversight. The setting gives campers a sense of independence while maintaining structure and supervision.
Meals
Day campers are provided with lunch as part of their daily schedule. Campers take a supervised lunch break between class sessions, giving them time to recharge before returning to project work.
Overnight campers receive full meal service throughout their stay. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided through campus dining facilities, allowing residential students to experience college-style dining as part of the program.
All students are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle. Families with dietary restrictions or food allergies should review registration materials to understand available accommodations and notify the camp in advance if needed.
Safety
Student safety is a core priority at iD Tech programs. Campers are supervised during instructional hours, transitions between classrooms, and residential activities (if enrolled in overnight sessions).
Small class sizes allow instructors to provide close guidance and attention. Staff members are trained and background-checked. Clear check-in and check-out procedures are in place for day campers.
Overnight programs include residential staff supervision, structured evening schedules, and defined curfews. Campus policies are followed to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
The college setting provides controlled access to learning spaces, and students remain within designated camp areas during programming.
Health & Medicine
Families are asked to disclose medical information during registration, including allergies or health conditions. This allows staff to plan appropriate support in advance.
Overnight campers have residential staff available to assist with health-related concerns and communicate with families if needed. If a day camper feels unwell during the program, they will be supervised, and a parent or guardian will be contacted.
Although campers spend time working on computers, the schedule is structured to prevent overload. Instruction is broken into manageable blocks with guided lessons, independent work time, and regular breaks. Students are encouraged to stand, stretch, and reset between sessions. The goal is focused learning without burnout.
Hydration and short movement breaks are built into the day to support overall well-being during intensive project work.
Camp Traditions
One of the strongest traditions at iD Tech is its passion for STEM and innovation. The culture is built around inspiring the next generation of creators, engineers, and digital artists. Students aren’t just taught how to code. They are encouraged to think like problem-solvers and innovators.
Mentorship plays a major role in the experience. Instructors are U.S.-based adult educators recruited from leading universities, including schools such as Stanford and NYU. They complete background and reference checks and participate in extensive training before working with students. Programs follow guidelines aligned with American Camp Association standards, reinforcing professionalism and structure.
Many instructors go on to work at major technology companies such as Google, Microsoft, Disney, and Electronic Arts. That forward-looking energy shapes the environment. Campers see what is possible when skills meet passion.
Project showcases are another key tradition. At the end of a session, students present the games, apps, or digital creations they built. These moments build confidence and give campers a real sense of achievement.
Collaboration is woven into daily life. Students test each other’s projects, share ideas, and celebrate creative breakthroughs. The result is a culture that values curiosity, mentorship, and meaningful growth.
