TENNIS Europe More

Stamford, CT, USA

Overview

Escaping the ordinary summer routine, Tennis: Europe serves up a powerful blend of sportsmanship, learning, and adventure designed for serious young players ages 13–18. Now in its 52nd summer and welcoming nearly 4,000 participants over the years, this is far more than a tennis camp—it’s an international competitive experience where confidence meets competence, and young athletes paint their own masterpiece of growth.

Created for boys and girls who have mastered the fundamentals, compete on their middle school or high school teams, and are ready for match play (no rankings required), Tennis: Europe forms carefully balanced teams of 10 to 16 players across age groups. Each athlete arrives prepared to compete—and leaves transformed by the experience of training, traveling, and competing like a touring professional.

Compete Like a Touring Pro

Our 2026 tournament circuits span 17, 19, or 25 unforgettable days, offering one or two tournaments per week, each week in a different European country. Players don’t just practice—they compete. They don’t just travel—they travel as a TEAM.

2026 Team Options include:

Grand Slam Team (June 26–July 20 or July 12, London)
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that includes a ticket to Wimbledon, plus 3 to 5 tournaments in:

  • Prague, Czechia

  • Barcelona, Spain

  • Utrecht, Holland

Swiss to Rome Team (June 27–July 15)
Compete in tournaments in Switzerland and play club matches in:

  • Bergamo, Italy (near the Olympic training region)

  • Florence, Italy

  • Rome, Italy

Players gain invaluable clay court experience, sharpen their tactical awareness, and develop the mental toughness that separates good players from great ones. Our top coaches attend matches, analyze performance, and conduct daily coached practice sessions to correct mistakes and refine strategy. The emphasis on mental resilience, focus under pressure, and match intelligence ensures athletes return home stronger, smarter competitors.

A Team Experience in an Individual Sport

While tennis may be an individual sport, Tennis: Europe proves there is nothing quite like the power of a team. Teammates support each other court-side, analyze each other’s matches, celebrate victories, and learn from defeats together. The bonds formed while traveling internationally, navigating new cultures, and competing abroad create friendships that last far beyond the summer.

Traveling as a unit mirrors the life of a professional touring team—new cities, new opponents, new challenges every week. Players experience the rhythm of elite competition while enjoying the security and camaraderie of a supportive group.

Beyond the Baseline: Cultural & Academic Enrichment

This program is also a passport to new experiences and broader horizons. Alongside tournament play, athletes explore iconic European landmarks such as:

  • Anne Frank House

  • Vatican Museums

  • The historic grounds of Wimbledon

They practice language skills, immerse themselves in diverse cultures, and gain global awareness that enhances both personal growth and college applications.

Dr. Vinokur, a certified college counselor, supports families through the admissions process. Through our extensive network of former players and college coaches, participants gain valuable mentorship and insight into collegiate tennis opportunities. The international competition, cultural exposure, and demonstrated independence significantly strengthen academic credentials.

Growth On and Off the Court

New experiences bring fresh insights. Competing overseas teaches adaptability. Facing unfamiliar playing styles builds strategic intelligence. Managing travel schedules cultivates responsibility. Representing the USA Junior Team abroad instills pride and sportsmanship.

Players learn:

  • Mental toughness and emotional control

  • Clay court movement and advanced match tactics

  • Leadership and teamwork

  • Cultural awareness and independence

  • Confidence earned through real competition

Every day presents a new challenge—whether battling through a third-set tiebreak, navigating a new city, or supporting a teammate in a critical match. Each challenge builds resilience and maturity.

More Than a Summer Camp

Tennis: Europe transforms a group of motivated young athletes into tight-knit comrades who share victories, lessons, and unforgettable adventures. It’s the thrill of stepping outside your comfort zone. It’s the discipline of daily improvement. It’s the joy of seeing the world while doing what you love.

This isn’t a passive camp experience—it’s an active journey. A journey where players compete internationally, train with purpose, travel like professionals, and return home not only as stronger tennis competitors but as more confident, globally aware young adults.

So gear up for a summer that promises more than just tennis. With Tennis: Europe, it’s about the journey, the camaraderie, and the unforgettable memories made on and off the court.

It’s game, set, match—for a summer that truly changes the trajectory of a young athlete’s game and life.
