Riding high on the wheels of faith and festivity, this camp isn’t just another notch on the conveyor belt of summer getaways. From the crack of dawn, participants greet the day with a sprightly workout session harmonized with a moment of devotion – a gentle reminder that the hero’s journey lies not only on the track, but within oneself. From rigorous training in motocross under the tutelage of skilled instructors, the day proceeds to reverberate with echoes of laughter and camaraderie as the sun begins to retreat. Determined to embrace everyone, this camp invites males and females of varying ages, from young hearts (6-17 years) daring to ride the unpredictable waves of motocross, to adults seeking traces of adrenaline against the backdrop of a shared faith. Even non-riders find a home here, allowed to share the space sans motocross rigors. Almost emblematic of a child's dream symphony, groups (termed 'Huddles') of 8-10 campers embark upon this journey together. Diverse in age and bike sizes, they navigate the week under the care of two hand-picked huddle leaders; bonds form, faith deepens, and the essence of teamwork finds a place amidst conversation, meals, and bible studies. Each adventurer is offered the chance to rise, stumble, and explore with the guidance of instructors at different training stations. Techniques are honed, skills sharpened, and by changing up the training routine, monotony never makes an appearance. No matter the skill level, the Texas FCA Motocross Camp is a captivating unfolding of experiences that simultaneously accelerates heart rates and nourishes souls.
