UPB Summer Camp is run by a basketball training program that emphasizes individual growth, skill development, and competitive play — all tailored to young players. The camp welcomes children roughly between kindergarten/early elementary and middle school age (depending on the session). During camp sessions, players are grouped by grade or skill level to ensure drills and training remain challenging yet age-appropriate.
What sets UPB apart is its strong focus on fundamentals: proper footwork, ball handling, combo moves, shooting technique (catch-and-shoot, dribble-pull-up, shooting off screens), and live game scrimmages. This structured yet dynamic training helps kids build confidence, coordination, and basketball IQ in a manageable, fun environment. For children who love basketball-or want to try it out in a well-organized camp — UPB offers a clear path for improvement, camaraderie, and active summer fun.
Because the camp runs in short blocks (half-day morning sessions), it can appeal both to families looking for regular after-school-style training and those seeking a summer activity that doesn’t fill the entire day.

UPB Summer Camp organizes training and drills appropriate for children’s ages and skill levels. Players are grouped by grade or ability to ensure training remains safe and developmentally suitable. The coaches lead structured sessions — with warm-ups, drills, and scrimmages — under controlled conditions to reduce risk and maximize learning.
Because sessions are short (typically a few hours), and because equipment and gym usage are managed, the risk of fatigue or overuse is limited. Parents should still provide appropriate athletic gear, hydration, and care for kids’ readiness before and after sessions.
UPB Summer Camp focuses on consistent, structured basketball training and improvement rather than long-term camp-style traditions. Instead of campfires or arts and crafts, the “tradition” is athletic growth: regular drills, skill progression, and live games. For many participants, the repeated rhythm of training → games → improvement becomes a routine they look forward to — a tradition of personal development on the court.
Because camps are held in short, recurring sessions (holiday camps, summer blocks, etc.), families often return each season, fostering a community of young players growing together over time.
The UPB Summer Camp program centers on basketball skill development, movement fundamentals, and the application of skills in game-like situations. Each session includes instruction in ball-handling, footwork, attacking moves, shooting, passing, and decision-making. Live scrimmages allow kids to practice in realistic scenarios. Coaches provide constant feedback and guidance, helping each participant grow at their own pace.
This program is ideal for kids who want structured coaching in a fun, supportive setting. It blends training intensity with a positive summer-camp feel, giving players both challenge and confidence.
Campers are grouped by age or skill level.
Sessions are half-day only.
