Evolved from Virginia Tanner's vision, the camp, hidden at the heart of vibrant Salt Lake City, shapes kids' summer adventures with an artistic spin. Interlacing the elegance of dance with the creative side of arts and crafts, this dance-focused camp still resonates with the legacy of Virginia Tanner, over 30 years after her passing. It vibrates in every corner of the class, in the sparkle of discovery in a child's eyes, and even in the persistence to perfect an arm movement or a toe point. Undeniably, not every faculty member had the privilege to dance under Miss Virginia. Yet, regardless of this, the essence of Tanner's innovative methodology is palpable. It swirls around each dance lesson or handicraft session, encouraging the young aspirants to be fearless, to dare to dream and create their own artistic expression. Today’s participants channel their youthful energy into expressive choreography, crafting a beautiful fusion of movement and self-expression. As they dance, a new generation is lit with the fires of imaginative thinking, their feet tracing the path set by Miss Virginia years ago.
