WCLC Summer Program offers a structured academic camp with a strong focus on language development, math skills, and enrichment activities. The program is designed to help children stay on track academically while also giving them opportunities to explore creativity and movement.
Campers rotate through three core academic areas each day. In Chinese class, students can learn either Traditional or Simplified Chinese, building reading, writing, and comprehension skills. The English program focuses on phonics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar, and writing, helping children strengthen communication and literacy. In Math, lessons are aligned with the student’s upcoming grade level, covering topics like number sense, arithmetic, and early algebra concepts.
In addition to academics, campers participate in enrichment classes such as arts and crafts, drawing, Kung-Fu, and hip-hop dance. These sessions add variety and allow kids to express themselves creatively or stay physically active.
This camp is best suited for elementary and middle school students. Younger children build strong academic foundations, while older campers can sharpen skills and prepare for the next school year.
What makes this program stand out is its balance of structured learning and enrichment. Kids stay mentally engaged while also enjoying creative and physical activities throughout the day.

This is a day camp, and overnight accommodation is not provided. Campers attend during scheduled daytime hours and return home each day.
The day format works well for families who want a consistent routine without the need for overnight stays. Children can focus on learning and activities during the day, then relax at home in the evening.
Each day follows a structured schedule with clear transitions between academic classes and enrichment sessions. This predictability helps children feel comfortable and ready to participate.
The setting supports both focused learning and active engagement. Campers move between classroom-style instruction and activity spaces, keeping the day balanced and organized. Supervision is provided throughout all camp hours.
WCLC Summer Program builds its culture around progress, routine, and shared experiences. One of the key traditions is recognizing academic and personal growth. Whether a child improves in reading, solves a math problem, or learns new Chinese characters, these milestones are acknowledged.
Daily routines help create a sense of stability. Campers become familiar with the schedule, which makes it easier for them to participate and feel confident.
Enrichment classes also become a highlight. Activities like dance, art, or Kung-Fu give kids something to look forward to and help break up the academic portions of the day.
Group interaction plays an important role as well. Through shared classes and activities, campers build friendships and learn to work together.
These traditions create a balanced environment where learning feels rewarding and enjoyable.
The program is structured around a balance of academic learning and enrichment activities. Campers rotate through Chinese, English, and Math sessions, followed by creative or physical classes. This structure keeps the day organized while offering enough variety to maintain engagement.
Instructors adapt lessons to match each child’s level, helping them build skills step by step. Academic sessions focus on strengthening core subjects, while enrichment classes provide opportunities for creativity and movement.
The combination of focused learning and interactive activities helps children stay motivated.
