Garden Grove, CA, USA
World Cup Soccer Camps Garden Grove is a youth soccer day camp for boys and girls ages 4–17. The Garden Grove location offers three age-based camp tracks: Junior Academy for ages 5–6, Classic Skill Camp for ages 7–9, and Development Academy for ages 10–13. The broader World Cup Soccer Camps organization has been running soccer programs since 1991 and serves thousands of players each year across multiple locations.
The camp is built around skill development, teamwork, and match play. Younger campers work on fundamentals like passing, dribbling, shooting, ball control, and small-sided games. Older players move into more focused training in technique, game strategy, and match situations. Coaches evaluate campers and group them by age and ability, which helps keep the training level appropriate.
This camp will appeal to kids who like active days, team sports, and learning through repetition. Beginners can fit especially well in the Junior Academy or Classic Skill Camp, where the tone is supportive and fundamentals matter. Players with a few years of experience may prefer the Development Academy, which is more focused on improving performance in real game scenarios.
The camp also gives families flexibility. Garden Grove sessions are listed with both half-day and full-day options, and extended care is available separately during summer camp weeks.

World Cup Soccer Camps Garden Grove is a day camp, not an overnight camp. Campers attend during the day and return home after the session. No cabins, dorms, hotel-style lodging, or overnight supervision are part of the camp program.
Families can choose between half-day and full-day formats. The Garden Grove listing shows a half-day camp in the morning and a full-day camp that runs into the afternoon. Program pages also note that complimentary early drop-off starts at 9:00 AM, with instruction beginning at 9:30 AM. Extended care is available separately before and after regular camp hours during the summer.
This setup works best for local families or families already staying nearby. It is not designed as a residential soccer academy. Instead, it gives campers a structured field-based training day with daily drop-off and pick-up. For younger campers, the half-day option may be easier if they are still building stamina for a longer sports day.
Meals are not included in a prepared food service. Full-day campers need to bring their own lunch. The camp checklist also asks campers to bring a healthy snack for the 11:00 AM break and a refillable water bottle.
The daily schedule includes a lunch and relaxation period for full-day campers. Junior Academy lists lunch and relaxation from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM, while Classic Skill Camp and Development Academy list lunch and relaxation from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. Half-day campers leave before the afternoon portion.
The Garden Grove program is organized by age and development stage. Junior Academy helps ages 5–6 learn soccer basics through playful training, skill-building games, and small-sided matches. Classic Skill Camp serves ages 7–9 and focuses on fundamentals in the morning, then teamwork and game situations later in the day.
Development Academy is for ages 10–13, especially players with about 1–3 years or more of soccer experience. Morning sessions focus on technique and higher-level skill work. Afternoon sessions give players a chance to practice those skills in matches, strategy work, and game scenarios.
A typical day includes drop-off, warm-up and stretching, technical training, supervised breaks, and game play. Full-day campers also have a lunch and relaxation period. The program is designed to be active and repetitive in a useful way: kids get touches on the ball, try skills in game situations, and receive feedback from coaches.
