Palo Alto, CA, USA
Players spend the day moving between focused soccer instruction and game play, with training shaped to their age and experience. World Cup Soccer Camps organizes its programs from Junior Academy for ages 5–6 through Classic Skill Camp, Development Academy, and high-school training for ages 14–17. Younger campers work on fundamentals through playful drills and small-sided games, while older players add more intensive technique work, tactical decision-making, coordination, conditioning, and match situations.
Campers are grouped by age and skill level so coaches can adjust the challenge. Mornings emphasize technical development such as passing, dribbling, shooting, receiving, ball control, warm-ups, and skill-building exercises. Full-day programs continue after lunch with small-sided games, matches, and teamwork. High-school players train in smaller groups and focus on preparing for school-season play through technical training, conditioning, coordination, and match work. Coaches monitor progress during the week and published program descriptions include an evaluation or diploma at the end.
The Palo Alto camp has most recently operated at Greer Soccer Fields, an outdoor grass site in a public park with parking available. Families can choose full-day or half-day formats when offered, and summer extended care is available before and after the regular camp day. Campers should arrive with their own soccer gear, water, snack, sunscreen, and a packed lunch for full-day attendance.

The camp pathway is organized by age and playing stage. Junior Academy introduces ages 5–6 to passing, dribbling, shooting, ball control, teamwork, and small-sided play through fun training activities. Classic Skill Camp serves ages 7–9 and begins with an evaluation so coaches can group campers by age and skill level. Its morning block centers on core soccer techniques and concepts, while the later part of the day shifts toward teamwork, games, and match situations.
Development Academy is designed for ages 10–13, including players with prior soccer experience. Morning sessions emphasize intensive skill and technique training; afternoons use matches and game scenarios to work on strategy and tactical understanding. High School Players Training Camp serves ages 14–17 in smaller groups, with technical training, coordination, conditioning, matches, and preparation for school-season play. Across the camp programs, coaches monitor player progress and the camp provides an evaluation or diploma at the end of the week.
Regular full-day and half-day schedules are published for many camp programs. Early drop-off begins before instruction, and summer extended care can add supervised time before or after camp. Full-day campers pause for lunch before returning to games and matches in the afternoon.

Campers bring their own food. The published camp checklist asks every camper to bring a healthy snack for the 11:00 AM break, and full-day campers need to pack a lunch. A refillable water bottle is also part of the recommended camp gear. Program schedules include a lunch and relaxation period for full-day youth camps before afternoon games and matches. No camp-provided meal service is described in the published camp information.
Coaches are screened through DOJ and FBI background checks, and the staff page lists Safe Haven and CDC concussion certifications among the coaching standards. Camp staff schedule regular water breaks, and the organization says it selects camp locations with adequate shade and avoids sites that are overly exposed to heat. When extra shade is needed, tents may be set up for campers. Families are also reminded to apply sunscreen and send a refillable water bottle. During extended care, children remain supervised by camp staff; no soccer instruction is provided during that optional care period.
World Cup Soccer Camps describes its coaches as professional soccer instructors with comprehensive training, playing backgrounds, and a focus on teaching young players. Coaches undergo DOJ and FBI background checks, and published staff standards include certification, Safe Haven child-protection training, and CDC concussion training. The FAQ describes an approximate ratio of 10–12 players per coach. Program pages also explain that coaches group players by age and skill, monitor progress during camp, and provide evaluations or diplomas for campers throughout the week.
Regular camp drop-off begins at 9:00 AM, with instruction starting at 9:30 AM. Families should send soccer cleats or tennis shoes, a soccer ball, shin guards, sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and a healthy snack; full-day campers also need a packed lunch. Ball size guidance is age-based in the FAQ. Summer extended care is available before camp from 8:00–9:00 AM and after camp from 3:00–5:00 PM for an additional charge. The latest verified Palo Alto summer camp site is an outdoor grass location with parking available.
