Here, a swarm of adventurous activities waits to sweep your little ones off their feet, from horseback riding that conjures up tales of gallant knights to fishing, an exercise in patience and thrill. This camp, shimmering with the sparkle of swimming and the splash of paddle boating, also offers the rush of a waterslide, setting young hearts racing. Children can indulge in team games, where camaraderie blossoms, and talent shows, providing a stage for their budding talents. The serenity of hiking and picnicking provides perfect interludes to the action. Yet, amidst all the fun and frolic, the camp holds a deeper purpose. It offers young minds opportunities to have personal encounters with Christ, fostering a spiritual growth parallel to their physical and mental development. The camp program is a well-orchestrated symphony of variety. The overture is a teen week, followed by two weeks dedicated to grade school children. Then comes a rental week, followed by another grade school week. The crescendo is reached with two Sunshine weeks, dedicated to those with mental and/or physical challenges, culminating in a work week. This final act sees groups from across the nation participate in repair, painting and building projects, leaving their mark on the camp and the wider Kentucky Mountain area.
