The 4-star Hotel Kendler is located in the central part of Saalbach. The location couldn't be better: the nearest Bernkogelbahn lift is just a two-minute walk away, there is ski access to the hotel, and plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and ski rental shops are within walking distance.
The hotel is recommended primarily for holidays with younger and older school-aged children who plan to attend ski school or ski during the day with their parents, as there is no afternoon entertainment programme or mini-club at Kendler. The hotel itself is very pleasantly decorated, with a winter garden, a cosy restaurant and neat and spacious family rooms.
Bear in mind that the Kendler has a rowdy carnival party in February which may be appropriate for school children and teenagers but guests with small children may find the noises at night a bit disconcerting. So if you're planning a holiday with children in Saalbach in February, check with your hotel manager about the dates.
