Overview

The 3-star Austria Wien Hotel is situated in a small, quiet lane, just a 5-minute walk from the central square. It is very cosy and neat, with good service. Noteworthy is the hotel's pleasant décor in the classic Viennese style. Although there are no family rooms, some of the standard rooms can accommodate up to four people.

The furniture in the rooms is new and comfortable, a CD player and an additional sofa is provided to accommodate a child. Not all rooms are air-conditioned, so if this is a crucial issue for you, you should ask whether the room is air-conditioned when you book. Additional blankets and pillows (also non-allergic ones) are available on request.

For those travelling by car, there is an underground car park located just 100 metres from the hotel (for an additional charge).

Some nice bonuses: free Wi-Fi, a printer and a computer at the reception, an iron and an ironing board. The breakfasts are very good, delicious and child-friendly. A few metro stations and a tram stop are nearby. The "Austria Hotel" has a very convenient location for exploring and discovering Vienna.

A baby cot is available on request, high chairs and baby-sitting service can be also ordered on request. Children up to the age of 5 years stay free. Special discounted rates are available for older children. The lift in the hotel is very small, so if you use a pram for your child, it's best to book rooms on the lower floors.

Directions

The hotel is located in Vienna's first district and 18.5 km from the airport. The best way to get there on your own is to take the airport bus to the city centre. Get off at the Morzinplatz stop, which is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The Hotel Austria also offers a shuttle service (chargeable).
