There is also a taxi rank a stone's throw from the hotel and a 15-minute walk from the train station, from where you can take excursions to other German cities.

Directions

Living Hotel Düsseldorf by Derag is located in the Unterbilk district, close to St. Peter's Church and the historic centre of Düsseldorf. The Düsseldorf International Airport is 11 km from the hotel.

If you choose to use public transport to get to the hotel, the easiest way to get there is to take the S-Bahn (line S11 towards Bergisch Gladbach). When you get off at Düsseldorf-Bilk, you will need to walk about 400 metres along Elisabethstraße towards Kirchplatz and turn right at the intersection with Kirchfeldstraße. The entrance to the hotel is about 50 metres from the junction. As well as being easy, this is also the quickest way to get to Derag Livinghotel Düsseldorf from the airport.

The main train station is 2 km away and has many public transport connections to the Kirchplatz district. The closest routes to Derag Livinghotel Düsseldorf are tram lines 707 or 708 (Bilk S/Friedrichstraße stop) and bus line 725 (Kirchplatz stop).

Economy (75 rooms), 20-25 sqm, overlooking the church square. Rooms have single, double or twin beds, seating, desk, coffee maker. Some rooms have a kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Bathroom with shower. Connecting rooms are available. Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.

Business (64 rooms) are 20-25 sqm and overlook the courtyard. Rooms have single, double or twin beds, seating, desk, coffee maker. Some rooms have a kitchenette with fridge, microwave. Connecting rooms available. Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.

Superior (15 rooms) 25-31 sqm, overlooking the inner courtyard or church square. In the room — double bed with one or two separate mattresses, sitting area with armchairs and a sofa, kitchenette or fully equipped kitchen with stove, crockery, fridge, microwave. Bathroom with shower. Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.

Executive Rooms (6 rooms) are 45 square metres and have a separate bedroom overlooking the courtyard and a lounge. The bedroom has a double bed with two separate mattresses (1.8 x 2.1 m). A buffet breakfast may be included in the room rate and is served in the hotel dining room. Otherwise, breakfast is charged separately (approx. EUR 20 per person).

The breakfast selection is varied, but typical of German hotels — several types of cereals, yoghurt, jams, honey, different types of bread, several types of sausages and fresh pastries, egg dishes and hot dishes, fruit, vegetables, juices, milk, hot drinks.

The Agata’s Restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine for lunch and dinner.

However, guests often prefer to make the most of their accommodation and prepare their own light breakfasts in the kitchenettes provided in all room types. The nearest supermarket and several small grocery shops are within walking distance.

Remember that these shops are closed on Sundays, so you'll have to go to the only supermarket open at the main railway station.
