The Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten is located in a historic building on the banks of the inland Alster, which has housed a hotel courtyard and restaurants since the early twentieth century. The hotel underwent its last major renovation in 2009.
Today the hotel offers 156 rooms of varying comfort, each with its own unique style. Rooms on the fifth floor have balconies with panoramic views of the surrounding area and interconnecting rooms:
Fairmont Single Room, 25 sqm, overlooking the patio or the lake. The room has a single bed with linen, a bedside reading lamp and a large wall mirror. The bathroom has a bathtub, washbasin with a large counter, and bidet. Maximum occupancy is 1 person.
Deluxe Double Room, 35-42 sqm, overlooking the patio or lake. The room has a large double or twin bed, a seating area with upholstered furniture and a large work desk. Rooms on the 5th floor have a podium separating the sleeping and sitting areas. The bathroom has a bathtub, washbasin with large countertop, bidet. Maximum occupancy for 2 guests.
The Junior Suite is 55 sqm in size and has separate sleeping and living areas, large windows and a lake or patio view. The bedroom contains a very large double bed or two single beds. The living area has a seating area with armchairs, sofa and tea table. Bathroom has a shower and bathtub, double washbasin and heated floor. Maximum occupancy is 2 people.
Suite, 75-80 sqm, with an ornate separate bedroom and large living room, overlooking the lake or courtyard. The bedroom features a large double bed. The living area includes a lounge area with sofa, armchairs and coffee table, dining table, fireplace and a large work desk by the floor-to-ceiling windows. Each room has a flat-screen television. Bathroom has a shower and bathtub, double basins and heated floor. Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.
Deluxe Lakefont Suite, 80 sqm with lake view, wood panelled lobby, elegant lounge and large bedroom, separated by a door. The bedroom contains a king-size bed with bedside tables and linen. The living room has a massive desk, sitting area with upholstered furniture and tea table, dining table, Nespresso coffee machine, and large floor-to-ceiling windows. Bathroom has a separate shower and hydro massage bathtub, double washbasin and underfloor heating. Maximum occupancy for 2 guests.
Celebrity Suite, 95 sqm with lake view, wood panelled lobby, elegant lounge, large bedroom, two flat screen TVs and two bathrooms. On the 5th floor is the Sir Peter Ustinov Suite with a balcony where the leading actor from 'Around the World in 80 Days' stayed. The bedroom has a very large double bed and bedside tables. The living room has a massive desk, upholstered furniture and a tea table, dining table and large floor-to-ceiling windows. The rooms are decorated with antiques, paintings and mirrors. Master bathroom has a separate shower and hydro-massage bath, double washbasin, under-floor heating. Maximum occupancy for 2 guests.
Presidential Suite, 260 sqm, with lake view, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The suite occupies the fourth floor of the hotel and ensures total privacy. There is a large wood-finished foyer, a dining room with pantry, Nespresso coffee machine and a mahogany dining table. The dining room can be used as a fully equipped conference room with Bose stereo system. The living room has upholstered furniture, a work area and a seating area. All three bedrooms have separate exits, en suite bathrooms and are furnished with very large double beds. Maximum occupancy is 6 people.
