The Servigroup Torre Dorada is a three-star hotel in the La Cala district of Benidorm, on Spain's picturesque Costa Blanca. Hotel guests usually relax on Poniente Beach, perfect for a relaxing family holiday and awarded the Blue Flag. Compared to Levante Beach, there are fewer tourists here. The sand on Poniente is fine and golden in colour.
The entry into the sea is gentle and ideal for small children. The beach has playgrounds and sports grounds for active recreation (football and beach volleyball). Umbrellas and sun loungers are available at an extra charge. It is possible to practice water sports and play beach volleyball.
In the summer season, the hotel offers a children's club for children, animation. There are slot machines, board games, a playground, and billiards. In the evenings entertainment shows are arranged, sometimes a magician performs as part of the entertainment programme. All guests have a free visit to the famous Benidorm Palace. Not far from the hotel (6 km) is the famous amusement park Terra Mitica, which offers a good selection of attractions for the whole family.
The food at Torre Dorada is delicious and varied. There are gluten-free dishes for children, and you can order homemade mashed potatoes for the little ones, but you should take care of this in advance. If necessary, you can use a blender and microwave. Daily in the general menu, you will be offered soups, side dishes, various types of meat, seafood, pizza, and desserts. Drinks are available for an additional charge.
The hotel has no family rooms, but double rooms on request will install one or two extra beds to accommodate the whole family. From the disadvantages for holidaymakers with children, it is worth noting that the building is located on a hill, so you will have to go down to the sea on the pavement along the road or numerous steep steps.
