Embarking on a nautical adventure at Crimson Sailing Academy's Summer Camp is an experience that young sailors, aged 11 to 17, won't soon forget. Not only does the camp offer the thrill of taming the waves, but it also provides a healthy dose of education at Harvard University's state-of-the-art facility. The Academy prides itself on its low student-to-staff ratio, with only 24 campers per session, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and instruction. The coaching team, comprised of current and former college sailors, brings a passion for sailing to the camp that is nothing short of contagious. They serve as inspirational figures, instilling in the campers a love for the sport that keeps them coming back summer after summer. The location couldn’t be more perfect. Nestled in the vibrant Metro Boston area, the camp is easily accessible and offers an excellent environment for kids to learn sailing. The Charles River becomes their classroom where they master the art of sailing on two-person Collegiate FJs and 420s. These boats are known for their responsiveness and performance, providing an ideal platform for kids to understand the interplay of wind and water, the two vital forces that make a sailboat work. So, let your kids set sail on an exhilarating summer journey at Crimson Sailing Academy, where they'll learn not just to navigate the open water, but also to navigate the challenges that come their way, both on and off the water.
