Designer Camp Los Angeles is a creative summer program focused on fashion, styling, product design, branding, and visual storytelling. Instead of traditional crafts, campers explore how real designers think, plan, and produce original concepts. The program introduces children to the creative process from idea to final presentation.
Campers work on hands-on projects that may include designing apparel, developing brand concepts, styling photo shoots, creating mood boards, and building small-scale design products. Industry professionals guide the sessions, offering insight into how design works in the real world. The environment feels collaborative and energetic, with creativity at the center of every activity.
This camp is best suited for children and teens, typically ages 11 to 17, who are curious about fashion, art, media, or entrepreneurship. Younger campers gain foundational design skills and confidence in expressing ideas. Older students explore more advanced concepts and begin thinking about creative careers.
Designer Camp encourages individuality. There is no single “right” answer in design. Campers are supported as they experiment, problem-solve, and present their work. The experience blends creativity, teamwork, and practical skill-building in a way that feels both exciting and purposeful.

Designer Camp Los Angeles operates as a day camp. Campers attend daily sessions and return home at the end of each day. There are no overnight accommodations.
The day format allows students to fully immerse themselves in creative projects during camp hours while maintaining regular family routines. Sessions are structured around hands-on workshops and collaborative design experiences throughout the day.
A key tradition at Designer Camp is the final showcase experience. Campers present their projects and creative concepts at the end of the session, celebrating their work in a professional-style setting.
Throughout the week, students collaborate, brainstorm, and refine their ideas. The emphasis on presentation helps campers build public speaking confidence and pride in their accomplishments. Many campers leave with completed design pieces that reflect their personal style and growth.
Designer Camp Los Angeles focuses on hands-on design learning. Campers explore fashion design, product development, branding, and creative storytelling through guided workshops. Each project walks students through brainstorming, sketching, building, refining, and presenting their work.
Campers may develop their own fashion pieces, create brand logos and packaging concepts, design interior layouts, or style visual displays. Industry professionals share insights into trends, techniques, and real-world applications. Collaboration is encouraged, but individual creativity is always celebrated.
The program balances structured instruction with creative freedom. Students are encouraged to experiment, solve design challenges, and confidently present their ideas.
