Girls Rock Charlotte

Girls Rock Charlotte offers a one-week summer camp experience that empowers girls and gender-diverse youth ages 8-16 through music and creative expression. No prior musical experience is necessary, and the camp provides all the instruments needed for campers to learn, play, and create. By the end of the week, campers will have learned an instrument, formed a band, and written an original song—culminating in a live performance! In addition to music, Girls Rock Charlotte offers a variety of workshops on topics such as songwriting, DIY crafts, body confidence, self-defense, social justice, and media literacy. These workshops are designed to foster creativity while building self-esteem and encouraging collaboration in a fun and supportive environment. This camp is all about empowering youth to express themselves through music while learning valuable life skills.
