GymnastiKids Camp is a development-focused day camp created to support young children as they grow stronger, more confident, and more comfortable with movement. The camp environment is caring, upbeat, and intentionally non-competitive. Activities are designed to help children feel safe while exploring new ways to move their bodies through guided gymnastics-based play.
The camp is best suited for preschool and early elementary-aged children. Younger campers benefit from short, engaging activity blocks that build balance, coordination, listening skills, and body awareness. The program emphasizes simple progressions, allowing children to succeed step by step rather than feeling pressured to perform. Campers are encouraged to try new movements, interact with peers, and develop independence in a supportive setting.
What makes GymnastiKids Camp special is its strong focus on positive reinforcement. Counselors consistently highlight what children are doing well, helping campers build self-esteem and confidence. Specially designed equipment supports safe exploration and gradual skill development. Camp days typically include warm-up activities, movement challenges, time on gymnastics apparatus, and fun conditioning games. The goal is not competition, but personal accomplishment—helping children develop a positive relationship with physical activity that can support a lifetime of healthy movement.

GymnastiKids Camp does not provide meals or snacks. Campers must bring their own snack, lunch, and water bottle each day. This allows families to plan food that meets their child’s preferences and dietary needs.
Meal and snack times are scheduled and supervised, giving campers a chance to rest, refuel, and socialize with their group. Children staying for extended care hours are encouraged to bring an additional snack to stay energized later in the day.
Families are asked to pack food items clearly labeled with the child’s name. A refillable water bottle is required, as hydration breaks are built into the daily schedule, especially during active movement sessions.
Safety is a top priority at GymnastiKids Camp. Campers are supervised at all times by trained instructors who guide activities and monitor children closely. Campers are grouped by age to help ensure activities are appropriate and manageable.
Gymnastics instruction emphasizes proper technique and controlled progressions. Instructors explain expectations clearly before each activity and provide hands-on guidance to help campers move safely. Equipment is used in structured ways to reduce risk while allowing kids to challenge themselves.
Clear procedures are in place for transitions, rest breaks, and supervision during extended care hours. Families are asked to pick up campers at the designated time, as consistent schedules help maintain a safe and well-organized environment.
GymnastiKids Camp follows standard day camp health practices to support camper well-being. Instructors monitor children throughout the day for signs of fatigue or discomfort and encourage regular water breaks.
Families are asked to share relevant medical information before camp begins, including allergies or health concerns. This information helps staff respond appropriately if a child needs support during camp hours.
Basic first aid is available on site for minor injuries such as bumps or scrapes. If a child becomes ill or requires additional attention, families are contacted promptly. Because this is a day camp, ongoing medical care outside camp hours remains the responsibility of families.
GymnastiKids Camp builds a sense of community through shared routines and positive reinforcement. Daily warm-ups help campers get ready to move, while group activities create opportunities for teamwork and encouragement.
Instructors consistently celebrate effort and participation, helping kids feel proud of what they try—even when learning something new feels challenging. End-of-day wrap-ups help campers wind down and reflect on what they worked on during the day.
Many campers return year after year, already familiar with the gym environment and camp routines. These shared experiences help make the camp feel welcoming and confidence-boosting.
The activities program at GymnastiKids Camp is designed to keep kids moving, learning, and having fun throughout the day. Campers rotate through gymnastics stations and guided movement activities that support strength, coordination, and flexibility. The program balances structured instruction with games and creative play to maintain energy and engagement.
Activities are tailored by age group so campers can progress at a comfortable pace. Younger children focus on basic movement skills, balance, and safe tumbling. Older campers work on more advanced gymnastics skills, obstacle courses, and strength-based challenges, always with instructor guidance.
Group games and creative movement activities add variety and help campers build social skills. The focus stays on effort, confidence, and enjoyment rather than competition. Each day follows a familiar rhythm, helping campers feel comfortable while still excited to participate.
Campers must bring a snack, lunch, and water bottle daily. An extra snack is recommended for children staying during extended care hours. Make sure your child wears clothing that does not restrict movement. No jeans and no dresses are allowed during camp activities.
