For those families with tech-savvy teens, the iD Programming Academy offers an unparalleled opportunity. This isn't just any summer camp; it's a rocket ride into the future. Held within the hallowed halls of prestigious universities such as MIT and Stanford, it provides a mind-expanding, horizon-broadening experience, all while having the time of their lives. In this camp, young geniuses aged 13-18 are not just dipping their toes but diving headfirst into the deep end of the programming pool. Over the course of two weeks, they live and breathe coding, app development, engineering, and robotics. Small class sizes ensure each student gets the attention they need to flourish and truly grasp the skills being taught. But this isn't all work and no play. Campers also get to tour an actual app development studio, offering a sneak peek into their potential future. They'll be using real-world programs and platforms like Java, C++, Xcode, Objective-C, and Arduino. They even get the chance to work with the gaming worlds of Minecraft, iOS, and Android – turning play into a productive learning experience. The cherry on top? Campers graduate with a tangible portfolio of their work, and can opt to receive accredited Continuing Education Units. Talk about a summer well spent! The iD Programming Academy truly is a passport to an exciting future in the dynamic world of tech.
