Accommodation
JCamp operates as a daytime program. Campers attend during scheduled hours and return home at the end of each day. There are no overnight accommodations.
The day camp structure supports families seeking consistent supervision and engaging programming throughout the summer without a residential commitment. Children enjoy a full day of activities while maintaining regular evening routines at home.
Meals
All snacks provided by JCamp are individually packaged, kosher, and peanut-free. Morning snacks include pretzels, popcorn, potato chips, and on Fridays, chocolate chip cookies in honor of Shabbat. Afternoon snacks tend to include more options, such as popsicles and animal crackers. Campers can always eat snacks sent from home, which are not required to be kosher.
Safety
Camp activities are supervised by staff members who guide daily programming and monitor participation. Structured schedules and organized activity areas help maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Group games, sports, and creative sessions are conducted with oversight to encourage respectful behavior and positive interaction. Clear expectations are communicated to campers to support a cooperative atmosphere.
The program emphasizes community values, responsibility, and mutual respect.
