MiddleTree Summer Program is built around three distinct learning pathways — SHADE, REBOOT, and SEED — each designed to support students academically while addressing different learning goals and styles.
SHADE (Student Hands-on Development in Education) combines academics with creativity through project-based learning, small-group instruction, and indoor recreational experiences. Campers participate in lessons across art, theatre, math, reading, and science, with activities designed to be engaging and adaptable to individual needs. Social-emotional learning is woven into the program to support both academic growth and personal development.
REBOOT focuses on reinforcing essential academic concepts and preventing summer learning loss. Through structured lessons and challenges, students review and apply key English and Math skills from the previous school year. The program emphasizes confidence-building, retention, and critical thinking to help campers feel prepared for the year ahead.
SEED provides a personalized tutoring experience through one-on-one sessions. Available in person or online, this program offers customized instruction tailored to each student’s learning style and academic needs, covering subjects such as English, math, reading, science, and more.
Together, these programs make MiddleTree the best fit for elementary- and middle-school–age students who benefit from structured learning, individualized support, and an environment that values curiosity, creativity, and growth.

MiddleTree operates as a daytime program only. Campers arrive for scheduled sessions and depart at the end of each day, returning home rather than staying overnight. Housing and evening supervision are not part of the program, making it a good fit for families seeking structured daytime learning without residential components.
MiddleTree’s activities program is centered on academic enrichment delivered through engaging, student-focused formats. Campers participate in hands-on projects, guided lessons, and interactive challenges that make learning active rather than passive. Programs are designed to adapt to individual learning needs, allowing students to progress at a comfortable pace while staying challenged. Small-group and one-on-one formats ensure that campers receive meaningful support and feedback throughout the program.
Each program track offers a different experience, from creative exploration to academic reinforcement and personalized tutoring. This structure allows families to choose the option that best fits their child’s learning goals and interests.
